It's rather run of the mill standard Wuxia at its base, if you like ATG, ISSTH etc this is pretty much up the same alley.
Cons:
- It really likes to repeat itself, this is especially annoying when it comes to the MCs characteristics. I don't know how many times so far I've read about how perceptive the MC is.
- Our MCs "side skills" are poorly utilized, and seems to have become somewhat forgotten.
- Of course the author pimps every upgrade MC gets as earthshaking, but it doesn't seem to add up. For example with all the cumulative upgrades to strength he should be a lot stronger than he currently is, especially compared to his foes, some details
- It also feels like a lot of upgrades are underplayed & some are mostly forgotten
- The romance side is pretty meh. As per usual every girl is an earthshaking beauty which easily falls for MC, they're all described as without any character flaws. Small spoiler for the first few arcs, although you probably saw it coming a mile away
Pros:
- Well it's mostly a standard OP MC Wuxia power trip story, and to be honest most of the cons I listed before applies to almost everyone of these type of novels in various degrees. And since these are one of my guilty pleasures I still find it very enjoyable still :)

I personally love this story and how it's shaping especially in comparison to true martial world the magic cube is a lot more interesting then crystal origins and the story curves and twists in a much more interesting way

At first you think it's just a normal xianxia without anything special about it. You have a generic 'special' MC who finds a cheat artifact and a series of events where he beats down young masters as the underdog, but this novel is so much more once you get invested in it. It's nothing like MGA and Peerless Martial God where the MC only lives to offend people, and instead it's about a martial artist who want to reach the top just to see what it's like.
Although the motivation is similar to Undefeated War God, the MC's way of doing things are more calculator. He's not the one who will act like a sheep in wolfs clothing but he will hide his cards and try to grow with every battle.
