The three pour love into the boy, and teach him all they know. But one day, Will starts to wonder: "Who am I?" Will must unravel the mysteries of this faraway dead man's land, and unearth the secret pasts of the undead. He must learn the love and mercy of the good gods, and the bigotry and madness of the bad. Series Reviews

Such a wonderful book. As a martial artist and a father, I broke down crying at half a dozen points in the book. Not because it is sad -far from it- but out of the sheer beauty of a son being raised by a good father and a loving mother, and growing into a strong, good man who loves them back, and must one day tell them goodbye.
This is a powerful book to fit in such a lighthearted genre. Read it - you will not be disappointed.

I read many light novels for simple escapism. They are like cotton candy; sweet, simple and soon forgotten. Lately, given how similar so many of these stories are, I have had to read several pages of a sequent novel before I remember the exact story I am in. Not the issue here. This story stands out in its uniqueness and maturity. It is still a sweet light novel, but more a Napoléon pastry than sugar fluff.

Story nice cool heroic main character needs a main plot though right now he's just running around feels like. He needs a long epic quest to find fighters and stuff for the demon king.

Conclusion

If you have money to spare and you like adventures pick it up otherwise pass, as for me this series is worth reading because i like some dark fantasy adventure novel.
